ATTENTION RESIDENTS:

 

TROPICAL STORM FAY WILL AFFECT OUR REGION TODAY AND TONIGHT. TROPICAL STORM "FAY" NOW JUST EAST OF DELAWARE WILL MOVE UP THE COAST… HUGGING THE NJ COAST THEN ON UP INTO NYC AREA THEN INTO NY STATE. THIS TRACK WILL GIVE OUR AREA HEAVY RAIN AND GUSTY EAST TO NE WIND TODAY INTO TONIGHT. CHANCE OF SCATTERED HEAVY THUNDERSTORMS LATER TODAY. RAINFALL 1 1/2" TO 3" WITH UP TO 4" OF RAIN POSSIBLE AND WILL PRODUCE LOW LYING ROAD FLOODING THIS AFTERNOON INTO PART OF TONIGHT. SOME RIVERS AND STREAMS MAY RISE TO THE POINT OF OVERFLOW IN "SOME" AREAS. WIND SPEED WILL MAX OUT AT UP TO 30, MAYBE 40 MPH THIS AFTERNOON/TONIGHT. LATER TONIGHT, WIND AND RAIN WILL DIMINISH.
