8/6/2020 - Update from PSE&G
Dear Valued Customer,
We are aware that you are experiencing a power outage due to the widespread damage caused by Tropical Storm Isaias. As damage assessment continues, PSE&G believes that Isaias is among the strongest storms to hit our service territory in recent years.
We have additional personnel, including tree and line crews, working to repair damage and restore power. Our crews worked through the night, and continue working to restore power as quickly and safely as possible. They are using modified safety procedures due to the current health crisis. Please remain indoors if you see a crew working. If you must approach them, please be sure to practice social distancing and remain at least six feet away.
At this time, we estimate your power will be restored no later than 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 10th. Note that estimated restoration times will be updated as we have more information. We have opened comfort stations (see locations below) that will provide free water and ice today from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., and tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Upon arrival please follow the designated traffic pattern, remain in your vehicle, and open your trunk so that our employees, who will be wearing appropriate protective equipment, can safely provide you with water and ice.
