Jones Road Bridge over Route 4 daytime closures required for the next several weeks in Englewood, Bergen County
Alternating traffic to be maintained during construction
(Trenton) – Jones Road northbound is scheduled to have lane closure next week on the Jones Road Bridge over Route 4 as a bridge replacement project advances in Englewood, Bergen County.
From 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday, May 13, and continuing daily Monday through Friday over the next several weeks, one lane on the Jones Road Bridge over Route 4 will be closed for watermain installation. Alternating traffic will be maintained on Jones Road during construction. Motorists are advised to slow down, us caution and expect delays or plan an alternate route.
The $20.7 million federally funded project will replace the Jones Road Bridge over Route 4 in Englewood Bergen County. The new bridge will be approximately three feet higher to improve under-clearance issues on Route 4. Work is expected to be complete in the summer of 2025.
