A Winter Weather Advisory will be in effect from Saturday, February 8th, at 7:00 PM until Sunday,
February 9th, at 11:00 AM.
Snowfall is expected between 7:00 PM and 10:00 PM on Saturday.

After 10:00 PM on Saturday, there is a risk of sleet and ice pellets at times.

Any lingering mixed precipitation should end between 6:00 AM and 11:00 AM on Sunday.

Road conditions may become slippery. Please slow down and use caution while traveling.

Parking Advisory:
If possible, park in your driveway to assist with snow plowing efforts. Street parking may hinder plows from
maneuvering efficiently due to snow accumulation.
We encourage everyone to stay off the roads to allow our Public Works Department to properly
clear the roadways.
During the snowfall, the Police and Public Works Departments will be working to enforce snow parking
restrictions as per City Ordinance § 25-21 Parking during Snow Accumulation.
The following streets are not to be parked on while streets are snow covered:
Grand Avenue
Tenafly Road
Engle Street
Knickerbocker Road
Dean Street
Liberty Road
Palisade Avenue
Van Nostrand Avenue
Dana Place
William Street
Broad Avenue

For a detailed list of streets and parking restrictions visit the following:

The City will offer parking in Liberty School Parking Lot, Mackay Park Parking Lot on the William Street
and Englewood Avenue side and Veteran’s Lot.
These parking lots will be available to residents with the understanding that once you park, the
lot will not be cleared until the primary roadways are properly addressed.
Please do not place any garbage cans in the roadway because it will prevent the Public Works
Department from properly plowing the street.
The Police Department will ensure that the ordinance is enforced which may lead to tickets, tows and/or fines.
For your safety, the Fire Department would like anyone with property on or adjacent to a fire-hydrant to please assist by shoveling around the hydrant to insure access in case of emergency.
