CITY OF ENGLEWOOD PUBLIC NOTICE

JOINT GOVERNING BODY AND PLANNING BOARD MEETING NOTICE MAY 8, 2025

In accordance with New Jersey law regulating the holding of public meetings, specifically the Open Public Meetings Act, notification is hereby given that the Englewood City Council and Planning Board will hold a Special Joint Meeting on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at 7:30pm via Zoom. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the 4th Round of Affordable Housing with the City’s experts. The Governing Body and Planning Board may also go into closed session to discuss items permitted under the Open Public Meetings Act specifically contract negotiations, litigation matters, and matters within the attorney/client privilege.

Individuals calling into this number will be able to fully participate in the meeting, including providing public comment. Public comments may be submitted by 3:00 P.M. on the date of the meeting either through written letter or email to meeting@cityofenglewood.org. All written comments shall be read during the Public Forum portion of the meeting and shall be subject to the same time limitations for public speaking. Duplicative comments shall be noted for the record and summarized. The agenda for the meeting can be found on the City’s website at www.cityofenglewood.org A separate meeting will be used for the closed session if needed.

The City Council and Planning Board reserve the right to discuss and act upon such public business as may be brought up for consideration to the extent that consideration of such public business is not known at this time. Formal action may or may not be taken.
